Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northern upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Huskies travel to Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD) to clash with the Spartans in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs (Claysburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Rockwood will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record.
