The Oak Park Northmen basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Truman Patriots to 47 in the Northmen non-league victory on Monday.

The Northmen now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Kansas City for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Oak Park will battle a Hornets team coming off a 44-41 league win over Fort Osage (Independence, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 16-4.

The Patriots (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Blue Springs South was routed by Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO), 50-37, in a league contest.
