The Uxbridge Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Oxford Pirates to 24 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 17. Uxbridge will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record.

With the defeat, Oxford moves to 5-10 on the year. The Pirates travel to St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA) to meet the Bernardians in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 14. The Bernardians enter the match with a record of 8-8. St. Bernard's Central Catholic won 40-20 in their recent non-league match against Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA)
