The Taft School Big Red ice hockey squad scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Pomfret School Griffins to 0 in the Big Red league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Taft School moves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Big Red travel to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT) to face the Martlets in a contest on Wednesday, February 14. The Martlets go into the contest with a record of 12-7. Westminster School won 4-2 in their recent league contest against Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT)

The Griffins now sport a 2-17 record. They take the field next when they host Northfield Mount Hermon for a contest on Wednesday, February 14. Pomfret School will face a Hoggers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA). The Hoggers record now stands at 1-18.
