The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL) and the host Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), saw Newsome's lacrosse team overcome Sickles by a margin of 14-7.

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.

The Gryphons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Academy of the Holy Names was overwhelmed by Plant (Tampa, FL), 16-4, in a non-league challenge.
