The Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Monticello Panthers to 23 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Dragons now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe-Woodbury for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 14.

The Panthers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Valley Central was routed by Warwick (Warwick, NY), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
