California High School Basketball - Arleta nudges Verdugo Hills

February 12, 2025: Arleta, CA 91331

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) and the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), observed Arleta's basketball team edge Verdugo Hills by a score of 55-49.

The Mustangs (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Sherman Oaks CES edged Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA), 85-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dons encounter the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Friday, February 14. Verdugo Hills will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Parrots come into the challenge with a 18-9 record after their 79-46 league win over Grant (Van Nuys, CA).
