Vermont High School Basketball - Mount Anthony toppled by Brattleboro

Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT), 68-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Brattleboro upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Bears travel to Rutland (Rutland, VT) to face the Raiders in a Southern Vermont - A match on Saturday, February 15. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 12-5. Rutland won 81-57 in their recent league match against Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT)

The Patriots now sport a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Mount Anthony will face a Cosmos squad coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The Cosmos record now stands at 8-8.
