In Wednesday's league contest, the host Mira Loma Matadors basketball team scored a big 72-49 triumph over the Center Cougars.

The Matadors (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the Pioneer Valley League contest with a 13-14 record. In their last contest, Oakmont was trounced by Colfax (Colfax, CA), 68-64, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League contest, on Friday, February 14. Center will attempt to better on its 10-17 season record. The Fighting Zebras go into the contest with a 20-7 record after their 60-57 league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA).
