Ohio High School Basketball - Harding nips Mathews

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Harding Skippers basketball team scored a close 59-53 win over the Mathews Mustangs.

The Skippers (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Cardinal was tipped by Berkshire (Burton, OH), 72-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Mathews will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Clippers come into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 65-43 league win over United (Hanoverton, OH).
