The Hastings Raiders (Hastings, MN) basketball were winner over the host North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), 47-31 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Park for a AAAA Section 3 bout on Saturday, February 15. Hastings will play a Wolfpack squad coming off a 72-58 non-league loss to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN). The Wolfpack record now stands at 10-11.
The Polars (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the AAA Section 4 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Mahtomedi beat St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN), 55-54, in a non-league test.
