North Carolina High School Basketball - Jackson Day nips Valor Preparatory Academy

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Jackson Day Mariners basketball team scored a close 73-69 triumph over the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls .

In their next game, the Owls battle the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 contest, on Friday, February 14. Valor Preparatory Academy will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 18-7 record after their 68-56 league loss to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
