New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe triumphant over Manzano

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), observed Santa Fe's basketball team overwhelm Manzano by a score of 66-41.

The Demons (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the 5A District 2 challenge with a 10-13 record. In their last challenge, Eldorado was routed by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 85-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Monarchs encounter the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 14. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 82-44 league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
