Kentucky High School Basketball - Paintsville holds off Martin County

The Paintsville Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Martin County Cardinals to 55 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pikeville for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Paintsville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 68-56 league win over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Martin County falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY) to confront the Golden Eagles in a District 57 game on Friday, February 14. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 15-7. Johnson Central won 68-31 in their recent league game against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
