Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Westwood Lumberjacks (Westwood, CA), 53-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Princeton advances its record to 14-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Loyalton (Loyalton, CA) to meet the Grizzlies in a Pioneer match on Thursday, February 13. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 13-12. Loyalton lost 58-57 in their recent league match against Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA)

The Lumberjacks now own a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plumas Charter for a Pioneer match on Friday, February 14. Westwood will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 86-34 non-league win over CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 23-5.
