North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Central bested by Atkins

The High Point Central Bison basketball squad (High Point, NC), lost 48-28 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the victory, Atkins advances its record to 5-16 on the year. The Camels travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to meet the Cougars in a 3A Mid-State battle on Friday, February 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 20-2. Rockingham County won 56-37 in their recent league bout against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)

With the loss, High Point Central falls to 0-22 on the campaign. The Bison host Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Storm in a 3A Mid-State bout on Friday, February 14. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 6-17. Southern Guilford lost 55-21 in their recent league bout against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)
