The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bellaire Eagles (Bellaire, MI) and the visiting Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI), observed Bellaire's basketball team overwhelm Pellston by a score of 54-6.

The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Ski-Valley challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Forest Area trounced Central Lake (Central Lake, MI), 55-13, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) in a Ski-Valley challenge, on Friday, February 14. Pellston will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 48-30 league loss to Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI).
