The Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH) basketball edged the visiting Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH), 45-43 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Timberwolves now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to White Mountains for a Division III bout on Thursday, February 13. Prospect Mountain will play a Spartans team coming off a 75-44 league win over Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Berlin falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to play the Toppers in a Division III bout on Friday, February 14. The Toppers go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Somersworth lost 63-17 in their recent league bout against St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH)
