In Wednesday's league contest, the host Middlesboro Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 48-36 triumph over the Harlan County Black Bears.
The Yellowjackets (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, McCreary Central was toppled by Scott (Huntsville, TN), 46-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Black Bears confront the Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Harlan County will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Briar Jumpers go into the contest with a 3-17 record after their 47-32 non-league loss to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY).
