The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) and the host Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA), observed Virginia High's basketball team overcome Lebanon by a score of 41-28.

The Bearcats (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men come into the Southwest challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Graham defeated Marion (Marion, VA), 53-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA) in a Southwest challenge, on Friday, February 14. Lebanon will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 61-22 league loss to Richlands (Richlands, VA).
