The Deerfield Academy Big Green ice hockey team scored 3 points and held the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans to 1 in the Big Green non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Big Green now hold a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon Old Farms for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. Deerfield Academy will play a Beavers team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 13-5.

With the defeat, Loomis Chaffee School moves to 6-11 on the season. The Pelicans travel to Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT) to play the Crimson Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. The Crimson Knights go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Salisbury School won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Taft School (Watertown, CT)
