Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 49-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 4-15 on the year. The Rams travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-13. East Gaston lost 74-46 in their recent league match against Burns (Lawndale, NC)
