The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC) and the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), observed Enloe's basketball team overwhelm Sanderson by a score of 70-41.
The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals come into the challenge with a 19-0 record. In their last challenge, Broughton trounced Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), 56-28, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Sanderson will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 58-28 non-league loss to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC).
