Wisconsin High School Basketball - Augusta can't hold off Cadott

The Cadott Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Augusta Beavers to 58 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osseo-Fairchild for a Cloverbelt - West contest on Tuesday, February 14. Cadott will battle a Thunder team coming off a 73-56 league win over Thorp (Thorp, WI). The Thunder record now stands at 13-9.
The Beavers (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI). The Mustangs come into the Dairyland - Large contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Melrose-Mindoro edged Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI), 64-57, in a league contest.
