Kentucky High School Basketball - Berea knocked off by Barbourville

The Barbourville Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Berea Pirates to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlan County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. Barbourville will meet a Black Bears team coming off a 87-80 non-league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 15-4.
The Pirates (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Sayre ran past Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 66-58, in a non-league contest.
