The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Dublin Scioto Irish to 49 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Big Walnut will battle a Arrows team coming off a 70-61 league loss to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 7-16.
The Irish (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH). The Celtics enter the non-league contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Dublin Jerome ran past Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH), 44-39, in a league contest.
