Cadott Hornets (Cadott, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Holcombe Chieftains (Holcombe, WI), 83-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cadott upgrades its record to 7-16 on the season. The Hornets travel to Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI) to clash with the Thunder in a Cloverbelt - West bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Osseo-Fairchild won 73-56 in their recent league bout against Thorp (Thorp, WI)

Next up, the Chieftains clash with the New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI) in a Lakeland - East bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Lake Holcombe will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 67-57 league loss to Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI).
