The Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the visiting GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA), 70-39 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions (11-15) will now prepare for their test against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-12 record. In their last bout, Parkview Baptist was crushed by Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 52-43, in a league bout.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. GEO Next Generation will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Hammond (Hammond, LA).
