East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), 83-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, East Poinsett County upgrades its record to 11-14 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Riverside (Lake City, AR) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 20-9. Riverside won 76-46 in their recent non-league bout against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
