Utah High School Basketball - Dugway ripped by Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Dugway Mustangs to 22 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altamont for a 1A Region 22 contest on Thursday, February 16. Mount Vernon will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 51-31 league win over Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-14.
The Mustangs (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Tintic (Eureka, UT). The Miners enter the 1A Region 21 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Tintic triumphed over Telos (Orem, UT), 70-45, in a league contest.
