The Hanover-Horton Comets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Vandercook Lake Jayhawks to 47 in the Comets league triumph on Monday.
The Comets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlotte for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 15. Hanover-Horton will meet a Orioles team coming off a 51-49 league win over Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Orioles record now stands at 11-5.
The Jayhawks (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI). The Warriors enter the Cascades contest with a 6-12 record.
