The Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN), 79-61 in Monday's league test.
The Lakers (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Sting go into the A Section 3 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Yellow Medicine East went down by Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 80-59, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Canby for a A Section 3 test on Tuesday, February 14. Minneota will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 73-65 league loss to Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lancers record now stands at 10-11.
