In Monday's league outing, the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), by a margin of 82-55.
The Chargers (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Indians go into the A Section 2 outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Sleepy Eye was trounced by Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian (Mountain Lake, MN), 71-51, in a non-league outing.
The Cyclones now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Madelia for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. St. Clair will clash with a Blackhawks squad coming off a 57-39 non-league loss to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-16.
