The Poultney Blue Devils basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Sharon Academy Phoenix to 39 in the Blue Devils league victory on Monday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Rutland for a Southern Vermont - D contest on Friday, February 17. Poultney will battle a Golden Horde team coming off a 54-45 league loss to Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Golden Horde record now stands at 4-13.
The Phoenix (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Eagles come into the Southern Vermont - D contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Arlington Memorial prevailed over West Rutland (West Rutland, VT), 54-45, in a league contest.
