Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), 80-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton upgrades its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN) to play the Panthers in a A Section 3 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton lost 61-53 in their recent league bout against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN)

Next up, the Sting play the Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Yellow Medicine East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 79-61 league win over Minneota (Minneota, MN).
