The Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) basketball crushed the host Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 78-45 in Monday's league test.
The Stars (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Orono walloped New Prague (New Prague, MN), 65-49, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host St. Paul Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 15. Richfield will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 53-27 non-league loss to Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-11.
