In Monday's non-league outing, the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY), by a margin of 56-29.
The Spartans (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Black Knights go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, Rome Free Academy smashed Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY), 66-24, in a league outing.
The Cobras now own a 5-12 record.
