In Monday's non-league outing, the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), by a margin of 62-28.
The Trojans (20-3) will now prepare for their outing against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Eden Prairie was trounced by St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 67-61, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo for a AAAA Section 8 outing on Tuesday, February 21. Edina will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 56-49 non-league win over Osseo (Osseo, MN). The Bison record now stands at 4-19.
