The Iroquois Braves topped the visiting Girard Yellowjackets basketball team by a final score of 33-20 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Braves face the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 game, on Thursday, February 16. Iroquois will attempt to move on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 15-6 record after their 48-27 league win over Seneca (Erie, PA).
With the defeat, Girard moves to 2-16 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to North East (North East, PA) to face the Grape Pickers in a District 10 Region 3 game on Thursday, February 16. The Grape Pickers enter the game with a record of 12-9. North East lost 50-38 in their recent league game against Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA)
