St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI), 54-33 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary Catholic Central upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Falcons/Kestrels travel to Jefferson (Monroe, MI) to clash with the Bears in a Huron bout on Thursday, February 16. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Jefferson lost 59-23 in their recent league bout against Riverview (Riverview, MI)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) in a Huron bout, on Friday, February 17. Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 63-37 league loss to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI).
