With the victory, Independence improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Patriots host Van (Van, WV) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-17. Van lost 51-27 in their recent league challenge against Clay County (Clay, WV)

Next up, the Raiders play the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 65-44 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
