Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) fans left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT), 8-2 in a league match.

The Highlanders (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT). The Griffins enter the match with a 6-15 record. In their last match, Pomfret School was trounced by Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 5-2, in a league match.

Next up, the Saints clash with the Williston Northampton Wildcats (Easthampton, MA) in a match, on Wednesday, February 15. Canterbury School will attempt to advance on its 9-14 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 10-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY).
