The Argenta-Oreana Bombers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos to 36 in the Bombers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Argenta-Oreana will meet a Maroons team coming off a 79-51 non-league win over Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 26-4.
The Broncos (13-17) will now prepare for their contest against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 11-16 record. In their last contest, Chrisman was routed by Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL), 65-52, in a league contest.
