The May Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Baird Bears to 38 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermleigh for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. May will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 79-35 league loss to Westbrook (Westbrook, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-18.
The Bears (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 11-12 record.
