North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobgood Charter over Bear Grass Charter

February 13, 2024: Hobgood, NC 27843

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) and the visiting Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC), saw Hobgood Charter's basketball squad topple Bear Grass Charter by a margin of 67-59.

The Raiders (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Hurricanes go into the 1A Atlantic 5 test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Cape Hatteras went down by Columbia (Columbia, NC), 82-48, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Bear Grass Charter will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 71-27 non-league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Griffins record now stands at 0-16.
