The Bentonville West Wolverines (Centerton, AR) basketball nipped the host Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), 58-56 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Springdale (Springdale, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 6A West test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Springdale got by Rogers (Rogers, AR), 63-55, in a league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Fayetteville for a 6A West test on Friday, February 16. Northside will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-53 league win over Bentonville (Bentonville, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-3.
