North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans trounced by Bertie

February 13, 2024: Windsor, NC 27983

The Bertie Falcons routed the visiting Perquimans Pirates basketball team by a final score of 76-35 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) in a 1A Four Rivers game, on Friday, February 16. Bertie will attempt to move on its 18-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 18-1 record after their 87-67 league win over Martin County (Williamston, NC).

The Pirates (5-18) will now prepare for their battle against Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Knights come into the 1A Four Rivers battle with a 15-8 record. In their last battle, Martin County was overwhelmed by Washington County (Plymouth, NC), 87-67, in a league battle.
