The Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI) basketball crushed the visiting New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI), 71-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bobcats (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Flambeau (Tony, WI). The Falcons go into the Lakeland - East test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Flambeau walloped Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI), 78-50, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clayton for a Lakeland - East test on Friday, February 16. New Auburn will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 52-24 league win over Cornell (Cornell, WI). The Bears record now stands at 11-10.
