Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 65-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Camden County upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to play the Redskins in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal bout on Friday, February 16. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Manteo lost 75-45 in their recent league bout against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)

Next up, the Aces play the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal bout, on Friday, February 16. Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 75-45 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).
