The Fair Grove Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Clever Blue Jays to 23 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Fair Grove will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 49-37 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 16-5.
The Blue Jays (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Urbana, MO). The Tigers enter the Mid-Lakes contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Skyline triumphed over Conway (Conway, MO), 78-73, in a non-league contest.
